Taking the lead from Jane McGonigal, I am convinced that gamers can indeed change the world.
I have witnessed the kind of loyalty gamers are able to gather, that brands can only dream of. I have seen the relentless pursuit of growth, regardless the difficulty thrown at gamers. I have participated in the absolute trust of strangers in a perfect collaborative environment.
Unfortunately, society has been (for lack of a better word) blind to the not-so-hidden potential of gamers, misguided by steoreotyping and lack of understanding.
